MANGROVE PLANTING
Bendega has planted 416,000 seedlings across 58 hectares of land in Bali, Nusa Tenggara, and Java. This achievement is the result of our extensive conservation campaign. If you're interested in participating, this planting will also impact the growth and development of fish and other marine life, as well as the local community through ecotourism and benefits from the mangrove ecosystem.

Planting is done by directly scattering seeds or propagules in tidal areas to grow naturally.

Planting a single mangrove seedling in each planting hole at a set distance.

Planting several seedlings in one hole, leaving space between each clump.

Creating elongated soil mounds to plant mangroves above waterlogged areas.

Using concrete pipes to protect seedlings from being washed away by currents or waves.

Using bamboo gabions to trap sediment and protect seedlings.
