We are committed to supporting seven Sustainable Development Goals by helping low-income fishermen (SDG 1) in Indonesia earn around IDR 600,000 per month through our programs (Ministry of Finance, 2022).
We have experience in conserving waterbody ecosystems and creating income for fishermen. We have covered more than 21 hectares of degraded coastal areas, working with 238 fishermen in seven fishing groups. We operate in East Java, Bali, and Lombok.
Over the last 30 years, we have lost 50% of our mangrove forests; 59% of rivers are polluted, 15 lakes are in critical condition, and our seas contain 1.8 kg of plastic waste per square meter (Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment and Forestry, 2021).
