On Sunday, September 11, 2022, a plantation project was conducted in collaboration between Lindungi Hutan and Bendega.id. The project aimed to restore the Bali coast and prevent abrasion. The project location was in Mangrove Sesetan, and the type of tree planted was Rhizophora mucronata. A total of 654 mangrove trees were planted in the area.
The plantation project was part of Lindungi Hutan's "One shirt for one tree" campaign. For each shirt sold, one mangrove tree was planted in the project location. This campaign aimed to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the environment and encouraging people to take action. The collaboration with Bendega.id was a great opportunity to spread the campaign's message to a wider audience.
The plantation project was carried out by a team of six people. The team was composed of volunteers from Lindungi Hutan and Bendega.id. The manpower was divided into two groups, one responsible for planting the mangrove trees and the other for monitoring the planting process. The team worked together efficiently to ensure that all 654 mangrove trees were planted successfully.
The plantation project was a success, thanks to the collaboration between Lindungi Hutan and Bendega.id. The 654 mangrove trees planted will contribute to the restoration of the Bali coast and prevent abrasion. The "One shirt for one tree" campaign was also successful in raising awareness about the importance of preserving the environment. The collaboration between Lindungi Hutan and Bendega.id was an excellent example of how teamwork can make a significant impact on environmental conservation.
