Bendega - For Sustainable Yields!

Travelearn Indonesia, a sustainable tour agency, collaborated with Bendega.id for a plantation project in September 2022. The project aimed to plant 100 Rhizophora mucronata mangrove trees in the Mangrove Sesetan location. The plantation project was integrated into the tour package provided by Travelearn Indonesia. Two manpower were allocated to support the project.

The plantation project took place on Sunday, September 25, 2022. The planting of the mangrove trees was the primary focus of the project, and the chosen species, Rhizophora mucronata, is known to thrive in the Sesetan mangrove location. The project site was carefully selected to ensure that the mangrove trees would have a high survival rate. Travelearn Indonesia provided an educational aspect to the project, educating participants about mangroves, their significance to the environment, and the role they play in supporting coastal communities.

The plantation project was carried out with two manpower provided by Bendega.id. The planting process was carefully planned and executed to ensure the mangrove trees' optimal growth and survival. Participants were given instructions on planting techniques, including proper seedling depth, watering, and soil preparation. The planting area was marked and organized to maximize planting efficiency. After planting, the mangrove trees were cared for to ensure their long-term survival.
