The Mangrove project in Dream island Sanur Kauh was a collaboration between Karang Taruna Denpasar and Bendega.id. The project aimed to increase the number of mangrove trees in the area and promote environmental awareness. On Monday 16 September 2019, 150 Mucronata trees were planted by a team of 3 people. The Mucronata tree species was chosen for its ability to adapt well to the local environment and its importance in preserving the ecosystem.
The project was conducted with the aim of improving the ecosystem in Dream island Sanur Kauh and preserving its biodiversity. The mangrove trees serve as a natural barrier against coastal erosion and provide a habitat for many species of fish and birds. In addition, the mangrove trees also absorb carbon dioxide and help to mitigate the effects of climate change.
The planting of the mangrove trees was a collaborative effort between Karang Taruna Denpasar and Bendega.id, with the involvement of the local community. The team of 3 people, consisting of volunteers and experts, worked together to ensure the success of the project. They were able to complete the planting of 150 trees in just one day, demonstrating their dedication and commitment to the cause.
The Mangrove project in Dream island Sanur Kauh is a positive step towards a more sustainable future for the local ecosystem. By increasing the number of mangrove trees in the area, the project will contribute to the preservation of the biodiversity and help to mitigate the effects of climate change.
