The mangrove project between Van Oord and Bendega.id was successfully completed on Friday January 10 2020. This project aimed to improve the coastal ecosystem by planting 8000 Sonneratia Alba mangrove trees in Hutan Akame. The project was carried out by a team of 15 people who worked tirelessly to complete the project within the given timeline.
The mangrove trees were carefully selected and sourced from a reputable nursery to ensure their quality and viability. During the planting process, the team took great care to properly prepare the soil and ensure that each tree was planted at the correct depth to provide the best chance for survival. The project was monitored regularly to track the growth and development of the mangrove trees.
The mangrove trees play a critical role in the coastal ecosystem, serving as a habitat for various species of fish, birds, and other animals. The roots of the mangroves also help to prevent erosion and protect the coast from the impact of storms and waves. This project will contribute significantly to the preservation and restoration of the coastal ecosystem, helping to ensure its health and sustainability for future generations.
In conclusion, the mangrove project between Van Oord and Bendega.id was a successful collaboration that demonstrated the power of teamwork and the impact of environmental conservation efforts. The project has already begun to have a positive impact on the coastal ecosystem and will continue to benefit the area for years to come. The success of this project is a testament to the dedication of the team and the commitment of both companies to environmental conservation.
