Chance 4 Change and Bendega.id collaborated on a mangrove project that took place on June 18, 2022, in Loloan Simbar Segara. The project involved planting 10 Rhizophora Mucronata trees in the area. The project aimed to protect and conserve the coastal area by restoring mangrove forests, which serve as a natural barrier against coastal erosion and storm surges.
Manpower for the project was provided by one member, who helped with planting the mangrove seeds on-site. The team was briefed on the importance of mangrove forests and how they help regulate the coastal ecosystem. The planting process was carried out with care, ensuring that the seedlings were placed at the correct depth and distance to promote optimal growth.
The collaboration between Chance 4 Change and Bendega.id was successful in contributing to the protection and conservation of the coastal area.
