BFI Finance dan Lindungi Hutan

On Saturday, November 26, 2022, a plantation project was carried out by Bendega.id in collaboration with BFI Finance X Lindungi Hutan. The project aimed to plant 2518 mangrove trees of the Rhizophora mucronata species in Pantai Kelan, Badung. The plantation project was carried out to support the conservation and preservation of mangrove ecosystems, which are critical habitats for many marine species.

The project location, Pantai Kelan in Badung, was chosen because it has experienced significant mangrove forest degradation in recent years. Mangroves play a critical role in the coastal ecosystem, as they prevent soil erosion, reduce the impact of waves and tides, and serve as important breeding and feeding grounds for a variety of marine species. By planting mangroves in this area, the project aims to restore the damaged ecosystem and promote biodiversity.

The plantation project required the manpower of 8 individuals who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the project. The workers were trained to plant the mangroves properly, ensuring that they were planted in suitable locations and using the correct techniques. The project also provided employment opportunities for local residents, thereby supporting the local economy.
