Bendega.id is proud to have partnered with Amazon Web Services to carry out a mangrove reforestation project in Sesetan, Bali. The project date was Saturday, December 31, 2022, and it involved the planting of Avicennia Marina mangrove trees. Our team of 33 dedicated workers spent the day in the Wantilan Desa Adat Sesetan area, planting trees and restoring the vital ecosystem of the area.

The location of the project was carefully selected based on a number of factors, including the need for mangrove restoration, the availability of suitable land, and the potential for positive impact on the local community. Sesetan, Bali is a region that has suffered from severe mangrove loss over the years, leading to a decline in the health of the surrounding ecosystem. The reforestation project aimed to reverse this trend and restore the natural balance of the area.

A total of unspecified number of Avicennia Marina mangrove trees were planted during the project, with each tree contributing to the preservation of the ecosystem. These trees are known for their ability to grow in saline conditions, making them an ideal choice for mangrove restoration in coastal areas like Sesetan, Bali.
