The collaboration between Alumni IPDN Bali and Bendega.id resulted in a mangrove project, which took place on Friday, December 24, 2021. The project aimed to plant 200 mangrove trees of two types, namely Rhizophora Mucronata and Apiculata. These trees were planted in the Mangrove Sesetan location, which is known for its diverse mangrove species. To implement the project successfully, six people were involved in the process.
Mangrove trees play a crucial role in protecting the coastal environment. They serve as a natural barrier against storm surges, erosion, and floods. Moreover, mangroves provide a habitat for many marine species and contribute to the coastal ecosystem's overall health. Therefore, the Alumni IPDN Bali and Bendega.id collaboration in planting 200 mangrove trees is a significant step towards protecting the environment and preserving the coastal ecosystem.
The two types of mangrove trees planted in the Mangrove Sesetan location, Rhizophora Mucronata and Apiculata, are known for their ability to adapt to various environmental conditions. These trees can grow in saline water, survive in harsh weather, and provide food and shelter for various species. By planting these trees, the collaboration aims to improve the mangrove ecosystem's biodiversity and protect the coastal areas from potential disasters.
Overall, the collaboration between Alumni IPDN Bali and Bendega.id in planting 200 mangrove trees of two types, Rhizophora Mucronata and Apiculata, in the Mangrove Sesetan location is an essential step towards preserving the coastal ecosystem. The project's success will not only benefit the environment but also contribute to the community's economic and social well-being. By creating a sustainable environment, the collaboration aims to ensure the protection of the coastal ecosystem for future generations.
