The mangrove project is a collaboration between Pertamina, Flipmas, and Bendega.id, which aims to increase the mangrove tree population in Pantai Kelan Badung. The project took place on Friday 12 April 2019, with a total of 150 mangrove trees being planted. The two types of mangrove trees planted in this project are Mucronata and Apiculata.
Eight people were involved in the mangrove planting project, with the support of the local community in Pantai Kelan Badung. The project aimed to protect the coastal area and to improve the environment by increasing the mangrove tree population in the area. The mangrove trees provide a natural barrier that protects the coast from strong waves and storms.
Mangroves are important for the marine ecosystem and play a crucial role in supporting the local fish populations. The mangrove project in Pantai Kelan Badung also helps to prevent soil erosion and maintain water quality in the surrounding area.
