The Padat Karya Mangrove KKP and Bendega.id have come together for a collaborative mangrove project in Mangrove Jimbaran. The project aimed to plant 35,000 mangrove trees in total, of two types- Mucronata and Apiculata. The project was held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 and had 65 people involved in the planting process.
The main objective of this mangrove project was to conserve and preserve the mangrove ecosystem in Mangrove Jimbaran. Mangroves are essential for the coastal environment, as they protect against erosion and provide habitat for numerous species of flora and fauna. This project aimed to contribute to the conservation effort of these valuable ecosystems.
The mangrove planting was carried out by 65 people from Padat Karya Mangrove KKP and Bendega.id. The two types of mangrove trees, Mucronata and Apiculata, were selected for their ability to grow well in the area's climate and soil conditions. The project was executed successfully, with all 35,000 trees planted within the specified time frame.
The collaboration between Padat Karya Mangrove KKP and Bendega.id has proven to be successful in achieving its objective of preserving and conserving the mangrove ecosystem in Mangrove Jimbaran. The successful planting of 35,000 mangrove trees, of two different species, has greatly contributed to the area's coastal environment.
