The mangrove project was a collaboration between KFC Indonesia and Bendega.id in 2019. The goal was to conserve the mangrove ecosystem in Pantai Kelan, Badung, by planting Mucronata and Apiculata mangroves. A team of 5 people carried out the project and worked with local communities. The project was successful, with the mangroves providing habitat and improving water quality.
The project was maintained and monitored regularly to ensure success. Local communities were involved and gained educational and employment opportunities. The mangroves thrived and provided nourishment for plants and animals. The project set an example for others to follow and highlighted the importance of conservation efforts.
